'Born in a Field' handloom weaving is based on the shores of Lough Neagh in Co Antrim, Northern Ireland, inspired by the traditional weaving methods of Donegal and by the landscape and seascape of our island.

We use age old traditional techniques on a generations old floor loom built in Killybegs to bring to you the heirlooms of yesteryear that are now more important than ever to treasure today for future generations.  

With minimal waste and a commitment to reusable, recycled and recyclable packaging our 'slow textile' loom shed was born to offer woven design, bespoke service and tuition.

 Traditionally certified and trained in the production of Donegal Tweed.

Workshops are offered to encourage the therapy of weaving as a hobby and more. DM for more details.
